The last thing Jess ever expected when she volunteered to help out behind the bar at a friends wedding.... was that she would meet the man of her dreams.
The last thing Luke expected, is that this stunning woman he just met behind the bar was also a cattle musterer... just like him.
How did hubby propose?
"We took our working dogs for a run. This is something we always did. He took me totally by surprise and proposed in the middle of the paddock at sunset."

What did your bridesmaids think of their Lucy and Loo Bridesmaids Dresses?
They absolutely LOVED them and still do! They have been able to wear them to numerous events since our wedding, just wrapped differently - so it looks like a totally new dress!
Jess's stunning wedding dress was custom made by the very talented Sunshine Coast designer Marilyn Crystelle
Luke's groomsmen have all worked in the cattle industry and 'formal suits' just aren't them. We wanted them to be as comfortable as possible and fit in with the rustic country wedding theme.
These INCREDIBLE bouquets were created by the very talented Sandi from Willowbud on the Sunshine Coast.. and transported the 4 hours up to Mundubbera! Just look at these stunning flowers.. this was definitely worth the effort.
Jess and Luke were married on the 11th of October 2014 at "Apple Tree" - a private property in Mundubbera (200km west of Bundaberg, QLD). The beautiful homestead in the background for their wedding ceremony and their wedding reception for 145 guests, held in a purpose build white marquee, set up in one of the many paddocks.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
My favorite part of the wedding was when Luke and I made our grand entrance into the marquee. I saw for the first time the amazing job that my friends and family did in setting everything up. It was just perfect and everything I wanted.
